The sound quality is miles ahead of the Echo Dot, but not quite as good as the 2nd gen Echo

Bought the Tap as my second Alexa to complement our much-loved Echo (in the kitchen).

the mic on the tap isnt as sensitive as echo but love the wireless charging base and picking this thing up and taking it out on the porch, bathroom or around the condo.

Wish it had all of the echo features like drop in.

The sound is not quite as good as the Echo but it has the battery so I frequently use it in my garage when cooking

I did the latter and now have a portable Echo.

It sounds decent but it doesn’t pick up your voice as well as the echo or echo dot

I don't think the speaker is as loud as the Echo, but it is plenty loud for listening to music around the house.

We are fine using the Echo but have been completely unsuccessful in getting the Tap to do anything!

I've also considered purchasing some additional Echo devices to automate other rooms, but discovered Tap isn't currently set up to link with other Echo devices or work with Echo's Alexa Multiroom feature
