No jam yet, if you don't over work the machine it should not have any problems

Nice small pieces and the machine is a lot quieter than other shredders I have used

Time will tell how good it is, but for now It is an excellent machine.

Like any machine needs maintenace, give it oil periodically to keep is running smooth

a simple credit card offer envelope completely jammed the machine.

The only problem is that even though this machine is capable of shredding credit cards, for some reason it simply cannot handle the Amazon Prime credit card that was sent to me unsolicited, which is now stuck in the machine and making grinding noises.

This machine requires a gentle touch - "fusses" at the operator when attempting to feed the shredder with too many pages (5 or 6)

The machine is sturdy, has a pretty, blue on light, an off switch & reverse

However, if you have patience and the time to spend on loading a large stack which has accumulated over times, then this machine will work for you

After buying less expensive machines that jammed and only took a few pages despite the claims, we love this shredder.

This failed as of about seven light-duty months on the job, probably as a result of a defective switch or wiring

I also try to limit the number of sheets to 4-5 max as I get a lot of jams

It does the trick and works as it should.
