I love the micro cut and the pull out basket for the shreddings

The micro cut is really small, like rice pieces, and you would really need a lot of time on your hands if you wanted to put these shredded documents back together

Works fine to do the occasional credit card and the micro cut is nice

Price Is MUCH cheaper than other products that offer the same features

Amazon dropped the price one week after I bought it but refused to credit my account with the difference so I had to return it (they deducted the shipping from my price so my net was about plus $1) and it stops after a few minutes of shredding

This would be a great product if Amazon would fix the electric eye problem, but I absolutely would not recommend it after having two fail in approximately a year.

There seem to be no easy way to remove the head from the bin

Really a top notch secure way to shred important documents

After buying less expensive machines that jammed and only took a few pages despite the claims, we love this shredder.

This machine requires a gentle touch - "fusses" at the operator when attempting to feed the shredder with too many pages (5 or 6)

And we both totally appreciated how quiet this machine is!

The machine struggles with more than 3 pages and will shut down quickly if I insist on 4 or 5 pages

The paper micro shredding works well, but as other reviewers have stated, it doesn't do much for cd's and credit cards.

Terrible product design: flimsy plastic base; drawer extremely awkward to pull in & out, and cannot use a liner.

After just 10 weeks, it is making loud noises and getting very hot.

Noise is about what's expected from a shredder (not silent, but doesn't sound like a car is being shredded)

I'm using a piece of scrap paper on which I've drawn big lazy S's across the paper with 3-in-one oil.
