Makes loud noises while shredding

Noise is about what's expected from a shredder (not silent, but doesn't sound like a car is being shredded)

sturdy, lowER noise, fast.

The next day I was upstairs and heard a loud noise, I ran downstairs and I found the shredder

Other than these two gripes, the shredder serves its purpose and works surprisingly well, despite the loud noise while shredding

Suddenly started making loud noises...sounds very much like loud crickets chirping.

but if you are looking for a shredder that destroys paper and does it with a reasonable noise level then I recommend this one.

It is not quiet shredding although not super bad noise-wise at all.

In use, I found the shreds satisfactorily small (not CIA grade, by any means, but a serious impediment to trash-divers), the operational noise to be satisfactory, the sheet feeding fine (only simple obvious care in feeding required)

Motor now makes a funny noise

it has started to make some weird clunking noise.

After just 10 weeks, it is making loud noises and getting very hot.

Then while shredding an envelope I heard a loud noise and wouldn't shred anymore

I'm using a piece of scrap paper on which I've drawn big lazy S's across the paper with 3-in-one oil.
