The reverse button did nothing to unblock, followed both sets of instructions for clearing major paper and minor paper jam
-
The paper looks like confetti.
-
If you delay the empty process, the paper will clog up the blades and increase the overheating.
-
Far and away the best paper shredder I've used.
-
Other than that, it destroys the paper correctly
-
Like it very much so far...cuts paper into very fine pieces.
-
7 or 8 sheets it usually turns off halfway thru the first stack, so I have to reverse, pull the paper out, and split the stack in half.
-
This is a perfect paper shredder and fit in the spot that I wanted it for.
-
This is the BEST paper shredder i ever seen, i made a YouTube video giving
-
Functionally, it shreds the paper well (micro-cut); it reverses if needed; and the hopper is adequate, but motor is VERY weak.
-
With this shredder, I can compost paper and subtract that from my garbage can.
-
They tell me it does shred the paper to nice small pieces but not as small as the Novitech
-
This shredder is made well and does a great job shredding papers into confetti.
-
It cuts the paper up into very small pieces, and they fall to an easy to empty basket
-
but if you are looking for a shredder that destroys paper and does it with a reasonable noise level then I recommend this one.
-
Cuts up paper real small, works with a lot of sheets
-
It shreds into confetti like pieces im trying to get rid of junk mail some papers and cardboard fake cards and the thick election cardboard junk mail
-
Cuts important papers into confetti
-
Paper jammed into it
-
No paper shreds were jammed in there which could have caused the sensor to start.
-
Awesome paper shredder
-
However, to double check, I examined it for any obvious paper jam (negative), and applied light cooking oil, a trick used to soften paper if there's an inaccessible paper jam
-
I've been lacking a paper shredder for years, but finally decided to research what might be available in smaller, less expensive, yet more secure paper shredders for household use
-
Just received this shredder one day and it works well and shreds paper into very small pieces
-
Great value and crosscut totally destroys the paper.
-
Best shredder ever- cheaper, smaller, quieter, works longer and shreds papers smaller than the fellowes shredder it replaced
-
yet i don't see why it wouldn't do this task as well as paper and caards.
-
When you shred delicate papers with this machine, there "ain't no way anybody could piece them together again" - credit cards, etc
-
Other than that, it destroys the paper correctly
-
I tried cleaning paper out, but it didn’t help.
-
This AmazonBasics shredder has tackled over 5 decades' worth of sensitive papers without any issues
-
paper falls all over when taking dump container out.
-
Great paper shredder but seems it was a used shredder since there were shredded pieces of paper inside the basket.
-
This is the best paper shredder I have ever owned
-
The static electricity and very fine paper dust produced during the shredding process seems to be a fire hazard
-
Very good paper shredder so far, as long as you're not looking for a continuous feed unit as might be used in a business
-
It's simple, compact, effective, cuts paper and credit cards into tiny pieces and requires no real maintenance
-
Now, I don't waste the old paper and it mixes well with vegetable, grass cuttings along with leafs and even coffee grounds
-
I sometimes use my shredded paper in my compost bin also and it works well although I have to fill and empty the bin on the shredder several times to get enough shreds to add to the much larger composting bin
-
Works well, actually turn paper into confetti
-
This is exactly what I was looking for to totally shred my important papers and charge cards
-
It is operates very smooth and chops paper into fine strips
-
The paper micro shredding works well, but as other reviewers have stated, it doesn't do much for cd's and credit cards.
-
Compact and shreds paper & credit cards with ease!
-
great paper cutter for the price
-
My new shredder is quiet, shuts off automatically, has a built-in paper waste bucket, has wheels, and shreds the paper into very small bits of paper
-
It is messy when dumping out the shredded paper and makes a mess.
-
We all have sensitive papers that need shredding
-
Pros:• Cuts paper into extremely small "security" grade pieces
-
Well it wasn't continuously falling paper but enough to add to the mess, especially if you let it fill anywhere to the top
-
If I turn it off and turn it back to auto AND have paper ready to shred, it works.
-
Shreds paper great, even cardstock (just one sheet of that at a time).
-
Perhaps with super thin/lightweight paper, but not with regular paper
-
I found the noise level to be quite low compared to other shredders that I have used, and I didn't have any trouble feeding paper into this, even with the paper slot being angled
-
It shreds important papers really well.
-
Great little paper shredder
-
A great paper shredder
-
Great paper shredder
-
Sweet paper shredder
-
Excellent paper shredder for the home
-
Loaded with features that make it the best choice for fast, easy. and secure paper shredding
-
This seems short, but the machine eats paper fast & credit cards too, and slices CD's - DVD's - & Blu-Ray DISCS too.
-
I decided to line the basket with a plastic bag from the grocery store, thin enough not to affect the fit of the can into the unit, making discarding the shredded paper more manageable and neater.
-
All you need to do is pull out the tray and dump your paper
-
So, basically, now, everytime I want to destroy confidential paper, I need to turn on the machine, wait a little bit, destroy the paper and wait next to it, then turn off the machine again
-
This is an excellent paper shredder.
-
This is one of the best paper shredders that I have had at home for personal use
-
I saw some people complain about feeding problems, but I put paper, folded heavy paper, heavy envelopes, etc, and it all went through fine, whether I neatly lined them up with shredders input, or they went in skewed (I was actually pretty impressed, I completely misaligned a few sheets and the machine still dragged the paper down no problem)
-
Perhaps I used it too vigorously, and now it has a shrill squeal when paper is put through and refuses to shred it.
-
It works like it says, shreds paper, cd's, and credit cards
-
I like feeding the paper in side ways instead of down
-
It cross cuts paper, credit cards and disc like confetti
-
I have not owned a better paper shredder.
-
it and it sucks the paper in, shreds it out
-
I haven't tried any more because I was afraid that the papers would get stuck/jammed
-
If you use paper greater than 20lbs, like I do, it's going to shred less.
-
Never did it shred more than a few papers at a time but it worked well until now
-
The paper gets jammed a lot & I do not put more that 3-4 sheets in at a time
-
It does indeed obliterate paper.
-
Easy to put together, makes your papers into confetti, easy to clean and the basket just pops right out
-
Easy to take the basket out to dump that papers for garbage
-
I like the fact that I can see inside easily so that I can monitor how soon I should dump the shredded paper
-
This failed as of about seven light-duty months on the job, probably as a result of a defective switch or wiring
-
I also try to limit the number of sheets to 4-5 max as I get a lot of jams
-
It does the trick and works as it should.
