The reverse button did nothing to unblock, followed both sets of instructions for clearing major paper and minor paper jam

The paper looks like confetti.

If you delay the empty process, the paper will clog up the blades and increase the overheating.

7 or 8 sheets it usually turns off halfway thru the first stack, so I have to reverse, pull the paper out, and split the stack in half.

Functionally, it shreds the paper well (micro-cut); it reverses if needed; and the hopper is adequate, but motor is VERY weak.

They tell me it does shred the paper to nice small pieces but not as small as the Novitech

I decided to line the basket with a plastic bag from the grocery store, thin enough not to affect the fit of the can into the unit, making discarding the shredded paper more manageable and neater.

All you need to do is pull out the tray and dump your paper

I saw some people complain about feeding problems, but I put paper, folded heavy paper, heavy envelopes, etc, and it all went through fine, whether I neatly lined them up with shredders input, or they went in skewed (I was actually pretty impressed, I completely misaligned a few sheets and the machine still dragged the paper down no problem)

This failed as of about seven light-duty months on the job, probably as a result of a defective switch or wiring

I also try to limit the number of sheets to 4-5 max as I get a lot of jams

It does the trick and works as it should.
