I thought this would be a decent alternative to the classic Moleskine notebook, but the quality is terrible

paper is not as good as the Moleskine but it is a nice notebook all around with its hard cover.

A lot of people have complained about the overall quality of this notebook and it's true, the pages are rather thin and the cover is not as durable as its Moleskine counterpart

Amazon is marching to a more rigorous beat here, and is aiming for stuff like Rhodia or Leuchtturm, which are just as overpriced as Moleskine but at least offer heavier weight paper that is fountain pen friendly
