this is a nice big and wide mouse pad

And this hard mouse pad doesn't slid at all, because of the antiskid coating under it

Not a ding there, since there is no reasonable alternative (I am NOT changing batteries on a mousepad!).So to my way of thinking, it does extremely well where it counts....a stable surface upon which to support a gaming mouse.

Overall - this mouse yields excellent mouse performance and it stays in place while you're using the mouse.

The AmazonBasics Hard Gaming Mouse Pad with LED lighting provides a consistent mousing surface and would likely make a difference for gaming if you're not using any kind of mouse pad (especially if your desk/table has any kind of uneven texture to it)

My mouse continues to work well, it rests on a clean flat surface, and the LED strip makes it look cool.

Overall, it's a nice mouse pad, and a good surface for gaming
