Easy to set up, nice quality for the price, hard to get the balance just right for me.

But if you can afford to go the extra money, I would hold out for one of better quality.

The metal of the stand is good quality but the adjustments are cheaply built with cheap plastic and can't tighten enough to hold even a super lightweight mic in a boom position beyond a few degrees off of vertical

As a mic stand, the build quality and sturdiness greatly exceeded my expectations.

Not super high quality and it tips over fairly easily due to not really having any counterweight on the back end of the boom, but with a sandbag around the base this stand should work with almost any mic.
