After 3 weeks I was finally able to get a good tech support person which after trouble shooting DVR found out it was a bad system and they need to replace DVR AND Camera

There were some hiccups setting up the recording functionality (figuring out the triggers) and I contacted tech support.

I did have to call Amcrest’s tech support line and spoke to Dennis Roth who was very patient with my questions about how to set up the network to the internet.
