Nice flute for behinners

Modern flutes are far easier to play well, they are loud and high pitched

Overall it is unplayable even for myself, and I consider myself a proficient flute player

Seriously, when a cheap wooden / bamboo flute is out of tune, I can see how it is hard to drill holes consistently, and how you may have to tolerate it

Tougher than a recorder to play but not as tough as a quena flute when it comes to making it whistle.

the wood fife and most of the music is for fife in the key of D and this one is pitched in the key of C other then that the mouthpiece is close to a flutes so easy to play, but some of the notes are better then others its an OK buy to blow a few

My 6 year old son wanted a flute and I am EXTREMELY pleased in the construction, quality and sound from this inexpensive flute.

Nice little flute to add to a cake topper.
