It is not necessarily an easy or a hard instrument, you just have to put in the effort to learn how to find, or adjust your technique to the instrument.

your C# and F#.This thing will last a lifetime and not only will it hold up under conditions you would never take an expensive instrument (camping, for example), but if it is ever lost or destroyed, the replacement cost is less than your average delivery pizza

But if you are willing to do these things, then it is the best instrument you will ever own, for that kind of price, and it will last a lifetime and then some

Nice looking lip plate, easy to read instructions, good feel, but when you get down to it, just not a good instrument to actually sit down and try to play.

I played brass (Trumpet 7 yrs, F. Horn 2 yrs) and woodwinds (Concert Flute 1 yr, Alto Recorder 3 yrs - present), so it's not like I haven't picked up many instruments along the way

Good instrument to use as a beginner.

This a decent simple 6-hole instrument and give it a 4, only because it is harder to play than others... doesn't provide much for cluing you in on the best position, so you just have to learn where this position is on you lip.

Once the intonation issue was corrected the instrument became very easy to play and it is very easy to produce a good clear note.
