American Plating 150CN American Plating Metal Fife

    • It wasn't difficult to find the correct position to blow, and I have a good feeling about this instrument.
    • This a decent simple 6-hole instrument and give it a 4, only because it is harder to play than others... doesn't provide much for cluing you in on the best position, so you just have to learn where this position is on you lip.
    • and IF you are willing to work at your embouchere/mouth position to scale it down from flute size to fife size, and IF you understand how to move the cork stopper to put it in a correct position so that all the notes play in tune, and IF you play it a lot and don't mind that some of the plating will start to wear and reveal the good brass
    • I kind of missed having the feel of playing a flute
