This is my portable hub, excellent design and gives me ethernet when I need it.

If you have a laptop that is equally used at a desk and not, then this hub, along with a few other USB devices for a monitor, speakers, and keyboard/mouse are very useful.

I used a USB 2.0 port when I set this Ethernet HUB up so it will work on either 2 or 3 for the Ethernet port functions
