Anker 3-Port USB 3.0 Portable Data Hub with 1 Gbps Ethernet Port Network Adapter for MacBook, Mac Pro/Mini, iMac, XPS, Surface Pro, Notebooks, Desktop PCs, USB Flash Drives, Mobile HDD, and More

    • (3 USB 3.0 Ports, A RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet Port, Support Windows XP, Vista, Win7/8 (32/64 bit), Mac OS 10.6 and above, Linux) Black
    • I have a two usb port Macbook Pro which I used with an old USB 2 ethernet combo hub, which worked fine except it wouldn't power portable hard drives
    • but I"m sure has more to do with my slightly damaged USB ports than a fault in the product.
    • I've connected ethernet, a webcam (USB 2.0) and a USB audio device (USB 2.0) at the same time, and all devices worked perfectly.
    • [part 2]Amazon removed the links to the Logitech site but this is what they recommend:• If your PC has multiple USB 2.0 connectors available, separate your USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 receivers by as much distance as possible
    • Essentially, an inexpensive USB docking station (I have ethernet, 2nd screen, mouse and CD/DVD drive connected to my laptop this way).
    • When connected as USB 3.0 these work very well for this application.
    • After some attempts, I finally made the adapter work with my 13-inch MacBook Air running MacOS 10.11.4 (El Capitan) but only with one of the two available USB 3.0 ports
    • a good USB hub is a must have
    • Also gives 3 USB connections (1 used for this device) for a total of 4 usable USB 3 connections on the MacBook pro
    • Plug it in to any available female USB port on your PC and you're done.
    • Solved a couple of problems (USB ports and wired GB Ethernet connection) in one easy step
    • Have not tried the other functions yet, but USB isn't working
    • did not work for xiaomi mi box that box only uses usb 2.0 this hub did work on the nvida shield tv though
    • I have a number of other USB devices plugged into the hub (all USB 2), and they are a web cam, wireless mouse dongle and USB audio headset.
    • The USB works fine, but the ethernet connection is spotty
    • If you're in the market for a ethernet converter, this one will provide high speed as well as some extra USB 3.0s.
    • USB-wise, but more importantly the built-in Ethernet port on the end saved my butt when my motherboard Ethernet took a dump tonight
    • I tried this (Anker 3-port USB 3.0 Hub with 10/100/1000) for my Surface Pro 3 to connect via LAN and it did not work consistently
    • I also like that the aluminum ones don't have a detachable USB
    • So far has worked well with my Surface Pro 4, affording more USB and an Ethernet wired port without the bulk of a docking station.
    • Nice having a few extra USB 3.0 ports.
    • Transferring files to and from my laptop to USB 3 drives connected to the hub worked smoothly, and the Ethernet adapter works well.
    • As someone who has owned a lot of not-so-great USB hubs in the
    • This USB 3.0 HUB totally blew away my expectations.
    • Excellent USB hub/gbit ethernet combo
    • I also tried relocating the wireless transmitter to one of the free usb ports on the Anker but the problem won't go away
    • USB works fine.
    • Plugged dongles directly into the same USB port, no issues
    • I understand this is unlikely as the existing chipsets come in multiples of four busses, and companies like to add those free/cheap extra usb ports and count them as features, but I only use the one USB port 99% of the time, and I would give up the two extras for a smaller package.---------------------Pros:*Fast speeds*Works great*Light Weight*Removable/replaceable USB cable*PriceCons:*I like the feel of the aluminum body ones better*Need to install a driverBottom Line
    • Usb's work fine.
    • The usb A of a pen drive end up being too much hot, I don't think it is normal.3 - sometimes the system (Linux) stop seeing the device and the connection is lost and only returns after remove and reinsert the device.
    • Very fast USB port
    • This little dongle allowed me to do just that with the Ethernet cable, and also plug in my USB headset, USB mouse, and still have another USB port available for anything else I may need.
    • One of the things I like about this version, is that while it's black plastic and doesn't look 'cool' at all, it uses a detachable USB 3 cable (and comes with a one-foot one) so that there's no having to replace the unit due to cable or connector wear, and the cable is a very sturdy thing

    • Usb ports work great
    • This little Anker unit is excellent quality and provides an Ethernet port aa well as additional USB ports.
    • I would recommend this for any computer with limited USB ports.
    • Works flawlessly with PC's and Macs that support USB 3.0
    • I just plugged the extender cable into the available usb port and stretched it away from the Anker 3-Port then plugged the Logitech Wireless Receiver into the extender cable and all works now.
    • Also, you have three USB ports that work for things like wireless mice, keyboards, USB thumb drives and anything else you might want to access.
    • Works out great, love the added USB 3.0 ports
    • Works beautifully and now I have a few more USB ports available
    • There are a lot of less expensive portable Ethernet - USB docks that look identical to this one, but Anker really is top notch quality
    • Nevertheless, it works appropriately when connected to the "correct" USB 3.0 port.
    • Great for adding a wired Ethernet port to a computer that does not have one AND at the same time adding 3 fast USB ports
    • Contacted M/S tech and using remote connection M/S discovered a software issue.
