fortunately the anker charger with the green light tells me easily that the phone isn't working.

I needed cables with extra length since my bed is really high and one for that back seat driver with a dead phone

In my experience, many after market cables have metal ends ends that tend to break off or the tiny pins in the compact phone-end tend to fall out

Both the lightning plug and the USB plug are sturdily attached to a strong, yet flexible, cable of sufficient length to obviate having to lay the phone on the floor or some other precarious place

I have had this charger since September of 2017 and I have used it every single day, to not only charge my phone but all of my apple products and i LOVE this cable

In the end the cord did not like my phone, BUT Anker has worked with me constantly through this entire situation and care about the satisfaction of their customers

I bought 2 of these cable and the other has not exhibited this issue nor non of the original apple lightning cable that came w/ the phone has had such issue
