    • I mistakenly put the provided USB cable into the sleeve on the screen side not the back of the case, and the pressure from the rest of the bag contents must have pushed the hard cable into the screen and cracked it.
    • I have to manipulate the cable and tilt the unit at different angles with the stand
    • No power cable or hdmi cable to carry around).5-Great for gaming on the go
    • The USB port on the screen is so sensitive that if you disturb the cable in any fashion the screen blinks in and out.
    • Only problem is that cable that comes with it gets loose real easy and monitor cuts off.
    • Not sure if its bad cable that came with monitor and I can't seem to find replacement parts
    • so whoever has this monitor don't lose the cable you can't find it anywhere
    • The cable I hear is junk and did not bother using it and purchased another on amazon for 5 bucks
    • then the cable didn't work anymore
    • USB-C cable it came with is suuuuper loose
    • So if you mount the monitor and the cable is left hanging . . . it constantly unplugs itself.
    • Today when I went to use it, the USB 3 cable that plugs into the back of the monitor bent and the cable is no longer usable
    • Make sure you don't lose the cable that comes with it, because that thing is expensive.
    • Biggest con is that the cable doesn't stay in the monitor very well.
    • Any slight movement of the cable makes the cable come out enough that it doesn't work.
    • But the cable that connects to the back of the screen is very flimsy and weak
    • I though maybe it is because bad cable or bad usb c to usb 3.0 connector, but I bought a different cable and tried another usb hubs and connector but the problem still exist
    • Additionally, The monitor comes with a 3ft cable, but if you need to replace it you'll need a compatible USB-C cable, as not all of them support alt-mode
    • The cable you plug into the monitor is where the problem lies.
    • It's just one cable and worked out of the box.
    • A cheap charge cable will not work (I've verified this)
    • Have been very impressed with the quality overall and teh USB-C Connection is super easy and minimizes cables

    • It worked out of the box with my Dell XPS 13 laptop (running Windows 8.1 Pro) using the included USB 3.0 cable

    • After researching some troubleshooting tips from others I have found using a powered usb hub to resolve the issue (can be usb 2 or 3 but remember it will only push the amount of your slowest cable at least in my experience)

    • Second AOC portable monitor purchased with a poor cable connection, you get what you paid for
    • So if that cable is lost or broken, getting a replacement will not be so easy

    • The USB cable had a split cable that looks like they want you plug both the USB3 (blue) and the USB2 (white) into the computer.
    • USB 3.0 port is in a good location to keep the cable from getting knocked out.
    • This thing worked great--until the cable stopped working
    • They were constantly out of stock (its been over a month) and they cannot recommend a cable that might work or just offer one for purchase.

    • As other buyers have noted, the USB cord is a little short, so you are going to be restricted as to which side of your computer you want to set this screen up on if you only have USB 3.0 on one side of your system.

    • Unfortunately, I didn't take it out of the box until after the period of return expired as it was a gif for my husband.
    • After some trial & error, I found the optimal RGB to be about 5250 K (R & B will be nearly right; G will be perhaps 10-15% over).
    • connector on back of device is, in fact a standard USB 3.0 'Micro B' style plug, not proprietary like some have claimed.
