You will need to get your hands on a piece of fiberboard or even some sheet metal to put in the soft case to protect it.

I always keep it in its protective case when not in use, and there is no visible external damage, but the screen has cracked internally and is now unusable

It has a flimsy foam case with no zipper, so be sure your cable is further down in the case.

I lost my soft case on the first monitor I bought last year.

I traveled with this monitor, tucked inside my carrying case for a week, using the provided soft case/sleeve provided and had no issues - I have a padded travel bag and the monitor fit seemingly safely inside until my last day of travel.

I've bought 3 of these & they all work fine, have to be set up with the CD that comes with each, also each comes with a nice padded case, how ever the only hookup wire (usb) could have been longer at least for my set up, and you have to be right in front of the screen to get the best picture 25/30 degrees off center & the picture blurs.

There is not a case available on the market to protect it, some screen protectors will fit it but they will not help

I got this in March and for the first 3 months it worked fine; plug in USB-C and then boom, instant 2nd monitor

So I ordered USB-C to USB-A adapter, and the display still didn't work.

Now I'm going to go fight with customer service again to try and get my money refunded as I don't want another one from AOC.

As other buyers have noted, the USB cord is a little short, so you are going to be restricted as to which side of your computer you want to set this screen up on if you only have USB 3.0 on one side of your system.
