    AOC e1659Fwu 16-Inch Ultra Slim 1366x768 Res 200 cd/m2 Brightness USB 3.0-Powered Portable LED Monitor w/ Case

    • Shiny case showed all fingerprints prominently.3
    • You will need to get your hands on a piece of fiberboard or even some sheet metal to put in the soft case to protect it.
    • I always keep it in its protective case when not in use, and there is no visible external damage, but the screen has cracked internally and is now unusable
    • It has a flimsy foam case with no zipper, so be sure your cable is further down in the case.
    • The supplied case plenty good for toting it around
    • The kicker was that the screen shattered after spending 2-3 weeks inside the included protective case, which was inside my laptop-friendly backpack.
    • The plastic casing on that one has started to scratch up a bit as it didn't come with a case, but it works like a charm
    • Case seems nice though!
    • The case is great to protect it from getting banged up or scratched when he puts it in his laptop backpack.
    • It comes with a nice carrying case.
    • If you buy this monitor and plan on traveling with it, buy some sort of other protective case, as the sleeve it comes with will not protect it, even from scratching.
    • Case is decent for basic protection from scratches, etc
    • The neoprene case is great and even in the case it doesn't take up much room and fits right into my backpack
    • The case is very useful, helps to keep the screen scratch-free in my travel bag
    • The power over USB is great, but the cord is pretty short and the soft case doesn't have a pouch for it.
    • The monitor comes with a nice, protective carry case which does a good job protecting the device, until it doesn't - something broke internally (not sure how that's my fault) and the company refuses to honor its warranty - I wouldn't purchase another AOC product
    • However, it is billed as a monitor for traveling and comes with a handy travel case.
    • Its lightweight, great screen quality, easy to download drivers, and a nice case to travel with it
    • I lost my soft case on the first monitor I bought last year.
    • I traveled with this monitor, tucked inside my carrying case for a week, using the provided soft case/sleeve provided and had no issues - I have a padded travel bag and the monitor fit seemingly safely inside until my last day of travel.
    • It's nice and light to carry and comes with a nice case
    • Oh and I do love the case that comes with it.
    • The screen is lightweight, comes with a nice case, and has a great stand on the back that allows you to use it both landscape & portrait style
    • I've bought 3 of these & they all work fine, have to be set up with the CD that comes with each, also each comes with a nice padded case, how ever the only hookup wire (usb) could have been longer at least for my set up, and you have to be right in front of the screen to get the best picture 25/30 degrees off center & the picture blurs.
    • There is not a case available on the market to protect it, some screen protectors will fit it but they will not help
    • Appreciate the travel case it comes with
    • A few complaints like the cheap plastic casing and very stiff USB cord, but pretty decent display for the price
    • The screen has cracked within it's protective case :
    • Comes with an open ended case (with a Velcro strap to hold in the monitor) ultimately this case is most insufficient to offer much protection if the screen is packed into a suitcase or a backpack
    • Easy to use and it comes with a protective case.
    • PROS : portability, good stand which folds back, fairly light in weight, bright screen, nice protective carrying case
    • Easy portability with nice case.

    • It is hardy, with a soft case included for when you transport/store it
    • It comes with a small protective case and it fits in my computer bag
    • The built-in kickstand and included soft carrying case are great bonuses
    • It came in a nice travel case which I used when I took it out with me in my briefcase.
    • Also, one of the monitor protective cases came damaged, but when I contacted AOC customer service, they shipped me out a new case immediately.
    • Case is completely insufficient to protect the monitor when traveling - buy the protection plan.
    • Their soft case does absolutely nothing to protect the monitor in travel.
    • This item also came with a soft case which fits the unit very well
    • great little screen, very light, great soft foam case included
    • Nice screen, nice carrying case
    • The product is thin, has an easy-to- use stand, and comes with a soft case for traveling
    • I lost my soft case on the first monitor I bought last year.
    • Good quality, nice case and clear screen
    • Portable, the case is good, price cost is enough
    • The case isn't the most protective (just a neoprene sleeve) but the monitor has worked very well and the brightness and clarity far exceeded our expectations.
    • The first screen broke while it was in my work backpack (inside protective case).
    • Also came with a nice cover and case for traveling.
    • Used a trimmed down clipboard back (after removing the clip part from an 11x17 size clipboard) to place fully over the monitor (i.e. covering plastic border surrounding the screen) before placing into the soft case
    • The plastic casing on that one has started to scratch up a bit as it didn't come with a case, but it works like a charm
    • Works great, very light, and comes with a carrying soft case
    • The case that came with it seems nice
    • The new model comes with a perfect little carry case.
    • Comes with a nice case
    • Fairly light- Works with USB2 without any issuesBad;- case is OK - I would prefer a hard cover for the front rather a soft sleeve to put in.
    • Also comes with a nice case to store it in.
    • The case included is a soft foam case that will not provide any protection.
    • Nice case
    • If you want to travel with it, it comes with a protect case which seems pretty durable.
    • AOC could solve this problem by replacing the stupid soft case with a hard plastic front cover like TI calculators use.
    • It's not a hard case (just a
    • Regardless, I liked this monitor enough to buy a replacement (though because I had customers question the image quality - I went with the IPS version), though I also picked up a hard case to better protect the screen.
    • People claim the case that comes with the monitor is no good.
    • I don’t recall exactly what he told me the messages said, but he said it’s not really a problem because the monitor still works great, and he uses it a lot.s Portable LED Monitor w/ Case
    • the case is durable, better than expecting.
    • Nice travel case as well to protect the screen from scratches.
    • It fell from 2.5 feet, while in the case, and cracked.
    • Great picture and case while it works.
    • This includes a padded sleeve, but I'd rather have a hard case to protect better.
    • This external USB powered monitor is really terrific - well built and it comes with a nice case (although I wish there was a pocket for the
    • The only other drawback is the case.
    • I babied this monitor, I stored it in two soft cases, and stored it in a safe secure place when I wasn't using it.
    • It comes with a protective case which is a huge plus
    • Even with provided soft case, I still feel that I will break the screen someday in my notebook backpack.
    • Pros: Plug-and-play, instant start-up, nice colors, nice resolution, good size, lightweight, good stand, comes with a cover, plenty brightCons: The case is more bulky than it needs to be, the USB connection in the back is not optimally placed, the cord is stiff and "feels" cheap (but it has held up to a lot of use with no damage), the case finish should be matte instead of shinyDespite some minor flaws, this monitor is perfect for students or business people on-the-go.
    • So far it works fine and has a nice stand and case.
    • Plug & play and nice case too
    • Regardless, I liked this monitor enough to buy a replacement (though because I had customers question the image quality - I went with the IPS version), though I also picked up a hard case to better protect the screen.
    • AOC could solve this problem by replacing the stupid soft case with a hard plastic front cover like TI calculators use.
    • Its small enough for a back pack and comes with a foam style protective casing that doesnt add much bulk or detract from a neat slid into your back pack
    • Invest in a protective case
    • I always carry the monitor around in its protective case, handle it very gently, and have never dropped it
    • It is light weight, comes with a nice case and uses the USB port for power!
    • Surprisingly, although not stiff, the pleather case is an improvement over the soft case AOC provided with legacy models
    • Nice travel case and plug and play.
    • It comes with a USB cable & a soft case and is small enough to fit in my laptop bag.
    • And, a protective case for storage
    • USB C requires alt mode for it to support displays and without it you will not be able to get this monitor to work
    • Great little monitor all works off of USB c
    • This monitor is not as clear as the USB-C
    • I got this in March and for the first 3 months it worked fine; plug in USB-C and then boom, instant 2nd monitor
    • So I ordered USB-C to USB-A adapter, and the display still didn't work.
    • Now I'm going to go fight with customer service again to try and get my money refunded as I don't want another one from AOC.
    • Perfect for our needs to have a second monitor...as we often work out of the office.
    • Buyer beware as I have filed a BBB complaint.
    • standard USB type C cables don't work as they only care power and data, but don't support video.
    • I really enjoyed this product until the screen cracked as I was traveling
    • and it does not kill the battery on the laptop as fast as I would have thought
    • I hope that it continues to impress as we use it more.
    • A great way to add an additional screen when on the road, as well as at home.
    • As other buyers have noted, the USB cord is a little short, so you are going to be restricted as to which side of your computer you want to set this screen up on if you only have USB 3.0 on one side of your system.
    • Monitor is just as easy, compact, lightweight and portable as I wanted it to be.
    • Unfortunately, I didn't take it out of the box until after the period of return expired as it was a gif for my husband.
    • The use side is not s problem
