    • Nice second display for my laptop
    • Freedom!PROS:GREAT display for what it is
    • Otherwise, based on my first hour of use, these are absolutely fantastic displays, and I look forward to putting them through their paces.
    • Clear display and very light.
    • The glossy display is a minor drawback, you might need to adjust the angle until you get rid of unseemly reflections, but the viewing angle is fairly forgiving
    • I use it to expand my video editing platform to keep all of my bin files and source monitor on to free up my main display
    • However, the display would not refresh properly.

    • Prior comment:I thought that it had started working well after I clicked to update the driver while in Windows Device Manager (8.1), in the hope that the driver had been updated, the driver did update and for TWO DAYS the display was rock steady
    • Typical USB ports are not made to withstand the connection that requires both a supply of power as well as display
    • The display is very crisp and doesn't strain eyes and it works really great
    • (But not soon enough for me to return it).I believe the failure mechanism is at the USB connector and unfortunately if that fails the display is worthless.
    • This display is certainly portable, and seems to work fine even when plugged into a single USB 2.0 port
    • Worst display driver of all time
    • On a side note, this thing works fine on my work HP laptop and its display is on par, but the HP EliteBook has a terrible display.
    • Pro. Going from looking at the awesome Retina display of the Mac to the somewhat dim AOC display is disappointing
    • If I set it to Duplicate mode, then run a game, it immediately freezes the display, and the only way to fix it is to kill the application using the other display
    • Pros: no added power cablesCons: Display can be deemed as,,,meh
    • With the AOC portable display I have a lightweight, single-cable solution that fits my needs perfectly
    • The portable display is excellent.
    • I took it on one trip and the resolution from my Macbook Pro 15 was poor, not as good as the primary display by a long shot
    • It's as good as any standard 1920x1080 desktop display.
    • It takes 2-3 minutes of adjusting the connection on the back of the screen until it will actually connect as a usable display
    • It's also got a tougher display and seems to be faster than the previous model.
    • The display for me is clear, bright and easy to read.
    • (AMD display driver crash, constant screen flicker, windows explorer crash, etc.
    • A few complaints like the cheap plastic casing and very stiff USB cord, but pretty decent display for the price
    • great all in one, loses 1 star because the 1080 display, doesnt feel 1080 but still great.
    • Excellent quality, portable and the display is clear and crisp.
    • A few complaints like the cheap plastic casing and very stiff USB cord, but pretty decent display for the price
    • It also has its own icon in the tray so that the display can be set to extend to left, right, top, bottom, mirror, main display or off without having to go to your DISPLAY settings.
    • This is a perfect little display to have connected to a mini-PC where you don't want lots of cables.
    • The display is not as bright as I would like
    • Misbehaved on first load and after restart and have had an issue with losing bottom toolbar display
    • The display of the surface book 2 became terrible after these drivers
    • I'll go to Best Buy and buy a cheap powered monitor with a better quality display
    • Great second display for my laptop
    • It is light, no extra cords, and decent display.
    • The only main downside is that the colors are a bit washed out and there are no adjustable display settings
    • Great 2nd display for the laptop
    • Pro. Going from looking at the awesome Retina display of the Mac to the somewhat dim AOC display is disappointing
    • I feel it gives the display that much more protection in my bag
    • Great display, Light weight, easy to use
    • This is a nice lightweight display that is great for people that need an expanded desktop when traveling for when traveling for work
    • It has a sharp display and is very light and easy to carry with USB plugin
    • The display was all messed up.
    • Based on other reviews I have cut out a section of soft cardboard in the shape of the screen to protect the display, given that the provided case is soft
    • The LED monitor's display is good for any presentation where electricity is absent.
    • When I tried to use it at the end of August all I saw was a modern art display on the screen
    • Display is cool and clear and super easy to read
    • I assumed I could brighten the display, but after calling AOC customer support, they informed me that the brightness cannot be changed
    • This has been a great second portable display.
    • Sadly the display only seems to work with USB 3.1 with DisplayPort Alt Mode which my laptop doesn't support
    • display is not very bright, so in a well lit room it's a bit of a challenge.
    • USB C requires alt mode for it to support displays and without it you will not be able to get this monitor to work
    • The display works ONLY on one of the Samsung's.
    • It is lightweight, works well and the display is clear
    • Very impressive display but need to download the displaylink driver.
    • The display is vibrant and crisp, with decent resolution
    • I would imagine it's great for a portable 2nd display, though I'm not using it for its portability.
    • As of this morning the display no longer works
    • The display looks nice however it doesn't work with my ASUS N56V laptop running windows 7 64b
    • I bought this because our new company-issued HP laptops only have a 14” display versus the 17” display on our old ZBook 17s
    • it not ultra thin, it is thicker then my yoga 900, the display is finicky so touchy to get it to work.
    • Windows 10 - best to spend a bit more money and get a decent display
    • It's not the most beautiful display ever-- definitely not as nice as the display on my Macbook Pro, but that's OK with me because I don't need it to be, especially at this price point
    • 15.6" is just too small for a 1920x1080 display to be reasonable.
    • I could live with the glare and poor viewing angles but it not delivering on the value prop (portable USB display) kills it for me
    • I have the LT1421 monitor also and prefer the display on that as the text read more crisp
    • It is light-weight and easy to swap between computers, the display is sharp for my needs, colors are crisp and bright.
    • My laptop is a LED backlit display
    • The display looks nice however it doesn't work with my ASUS N56V laptop running windows 7 64b
    • The display is looking nice, relatively light and easy to setup on Windows 8.1 - no need for the drivers included on the CD
    • I think the display is fine.
    • Display looks good to me, but I've got poor eyesight so take that for what it's worth
    • once the display link is installed the display is easy to set up and use on a daily basis
    • It was a nice display, but it whistled at a high pitch that only some of us can hear.
    • This display works great if you have the right hardware to support it as i tested with a friends laptop but as my laptop does not support it i cannot give it a good review.
    • but the display failed to do anything other than have a backlight soon after I received it.
    • Best display I've seen without USB-C, definitely recommended.
    • After a year, the display has started to lag very far behind my main computer
    • Portable and crisp display
    • this monitor installs the crappy display link which messes up the resolution settings on my surface book
    • I would be nice if the display was a little brighter, but it has good color and clarity
    • This display works great for both systems (Mac drivers not included, but available from DisplayLink site)
    • I got these for when I travel, they are light weight, bright, clear display, and all I needed to do was plug them into my laptop - instant triple screens, just like in my office.
    • The display is relatively heavy compared to some other portable displays.
    • Initially I liked this product a lot- portable and served its purpose
    • But the display resolution is not as sharp as I was expecting
    • The use side is not s problem
    • Now I'm going to go fight with customer service again to try and get my money refunded as I don't want another one from AOC.
    • Perfect for our needs to have a second monitor...as we often work out of the office.
    • Buyer beware as I have filed a BBB complaint.
    • standard USB type C cables don't work as they only care power and data, but don't support video.
    • I really enjoyed this product until the screen cracked as I was traveling
    • and it does not kill the battery on the laptop as fast as I would have thought
    • I hope that it continues to impress as we use it more.
    • A great way to add an additional screen when on the road, as well as at home.
    • As other buyers have noted, the USB cord is a little short, so you are going to be restricted as to which side of your computer you want to set this screen up on if you only have USB 3.0 on one side of your system.
    • Monitor is just as easy, compact, lightweight and portable as I wanted it to be.
    • Unfortunately, I didn't take it out of the box until after the period of return expired as it was a gif for my husband.
    • (ASUS MB168B+ cable has no Y and power is a critical issue for that thing.
