Otherwise, based on my first hour of use, these are absolutely fantastic displays, and I look forward to putting them through their paces.

Clear display and very light.

The glossy display is a minor drawback, you might need to adjust the angle until you get rid of unseemly reflections, but the viewing angle is fairly forgiving

I use it to expand my video editing platform to keep all of my bin files and source monitor on to free up my main display

However, the display would not refresh properly.

After about 6 months of use, the monitor stopped working as the display went haywire through for no apparent reason.

Prior comment:I thought that it had started working well after I clicked to update the driver while in Windows Device Manager (8.1), in the hope that the driver had been updated, the driver did update and for TWO DAYS the display was rock steady

Typical USB ports are not made to withstand the connection that requires both a supply of power as well as display

The display is very crisp and doesn't strain eyes and it works really great

(But not soon enough for me to return it).I believe the failure mechanism is at the USB connector and unfortunately if that fails the display is worthless.

This display is certainly portable, and seems to work fine even when plugged into a single USB 2.0 port

Worst display driver of all time

On a side note, this thing works fine on my work HP laptop and its display is on par, but the HP EliteBook has a terrible display.

Pro. Going from looking at the awesome Retina display of the Mac to the somewhat dim AOC display is disappointing

If I set it to Duplicate mode, then run a game, it immediately freezes the display, and the only way to fix it is to kill the application using the other display

With the AOC portable display I have a lightweight, single-cable solution that fits my needs perfectly

The portable display is excellent.

I took it on one trip and the resolution from my Macbook Pro 15 was poor, not as good as the primary display by a long shot

It's as good as any standard 1920x1080 desktop display.

It takes 2-3 minutes of adjusting the connection on the back of the screen until it will actually connect as a usable display

It's also got a tougher display and seems to be faster than the previous model.

The display for me is clear, bright and easy to read.

It also has its own icon in the tray so that the display can be set to extend to left, right, top, bottom, mirror, main display or off without having to go to your DISPLAY settings.

This is a perfect little display to have connected to a mini-PC where you don't want lots of cables.

It is light, no extra cords, and decent display.

The only main downside is that the colors are a bit washed out and there are no adjustable display settings

This is a nice lightweight display that is great for people that need an expanded desktop when traveling for when traveling for work

it not ultra thin, it is thicker then my yoga 900, the display is finicky so touchy to get it to work.

It's not the most beautiful display ever-- definitely not as nice as the display on my Macbook Pro, but that's OK with me because I don't need it to be, especially at this price point

15.6" is just too small for a 1920x1080 display to be reasonable.

I could live with the glare and poor viewing angles but it not delivering on the value prop (portable USB display) kills it for me

I have the LT1421 monitor also and prefer the display on that as the text read more crisp

This display works great if you have the right hardware to support it as i tested with a friends laptop but as my laptop does not support it i cannot give it a good review.

I got these for when I travel, they are light weight, bright, clear display, and all I needed to do was plug them into my laptop - instant triple screens, just like in my office.

The display is relatively heavy compared to some other portable displays.

Initially I liked this product a lot- portable and served its purpose

But the display resolution is not as sharp as I was expecting

Now I'm going to go fight with customer service again to try and get my money refunded as I don't want another one from AOC.

standard USB type C cables don't work as they only care power and data, but don't support video.

I really enjoyed this product until the screen cracked as I was traveling

A great way to add an additional screen when on the road, as well as at home.

As other buyers have noted, the USB cord is a little short, so you are going to be restricted as to which side of your computer you want to set this screen up on if you only have USB 3.0 on one side of your system.

Monitor is just as easy, compact, lightweight and portable as I wanted it to be.

Unfortunately, I didn't take it out of the box until after the period of return expired as it was a gif for my husband.

(ASUS MB168B+ cable has no Y and power is a critical issue for that thing.
