    AOC e1659Fwu 16-Inch Ultra Slim 1366x768 Res 200 cd/m2 Brightness USB 3.0-Powered Portable LED Monitor w/ Case

    • This monitor does not work well with a MacBook Air circa 2012
    • It either works or it does
    • The screen is darker than your laptop (as expected) and does not seem to lag when your laptop is plugged into a power source; however, if your laptop is not charging then the frame rate can be so slow to the point of being intolerable
    • The picture is OK, I wouldn't use it for photo editing, video or games, but does just fine for text

    • Comment added after some months: I have almost not used this screen, especially because there are problems with the USB connection - the screen often does not work (the cable connection between the computer and the screen does not work), and the screen has so bad quality that I prefer not to use it

    • While excel doesn't necessarily completely shut down the way Outlook does... it does often freeze or refuse to maximize or minimize -- depending on what state it was in when the window was originally moved over to the screen
