Called Amazon support (due to other bad reviews I bought the warranty) and got it replaced

I don't know how this has such good reviews

I had read some review that said this doesn't work with Windows 10, but it worked (plug and play) on my Windows 10 laptop with no problem

Don't be like me and hope against hope that the bad reviews are wrong, they most definitely are NOT

I've had this monitor for a few weeks now and can give an honest review.

Don't be scared by the negative reviews

I NEVER write negative reviews, I always give people the benefit of the doubt, especially products.

Having read the reviews and problems some have had, I purchased the Extended Warranty for a few pennies extra.

There are better and more insightful reviews out there, but I use this monitor daily

I was worried by a few of the more negative reviews, but I have to say - for the price, this thing is great!

This review is being posted on 3-27-17.I see that many people gave bad reviews because it didnt last long.

I have had no issues with the cord like some if the reviews.

The built in stand is made for this option and is wonderful when I am reviewing lots of legal docs and entering data in a spreadsheet on my main laptop

I had seen some other reviews reporting same issue, so it is not just for me.

Some reviews may exaggerate

Based on the negative reviews about the USB connection failing, presumably due to poor soldering, I decided to buy the extended 4-year warranty

This display works great if you have the right hardware to support it as i tested with a friends laptop but as my laptop does not support it i cannot give it a good review.

Don't be discouraged by the negative reviews about it not working with Windows 10.

Don't use this for gaming because chances are you'll get had by input lag (not screen lag).Now for all those bad reviews because people couldn't get the monitor to work - Sorry, but you can't blame the monitor for your failure to do basic research on the interface

That, combined with most positive reviews coming from new users made me a bit nervous

Initially I liked this product a lot- portable and served its purpose

But the display resolution is not as sharp as I was expecting
