Every time I plug it in it makes this god-awful static beep that will make you go insane

It is the most annoying sound, just a loud constant beep every day with this thing

The thing started a loud beep with no interruptions

It's now dead, continuous beep

Impossible to turn off the annoying 4 beeps every 30 seconds in back up mode

Could not silence periodic beep when unit to be protected was plugged in.

There are a few comments with people complaining about loud beeping, but none of mine did that.

2 of them work perfectly but 1 of them has already failed after a few months and is making a very loud beeping sound

The brand new battery backup lasted a few seconds before loosing power and beeping.

I would suggest Cyberpower make the instructions a bit more clear as to how you can disable the loud beep that it gives off during an outage, and post these instructions online for each of their models (which they don't seem to do).

As an example, every time I print something I have to listen to an awful beep.

As of the end if July 2018 the unit has stopped working and is a continuous loud beep

You can't turn the beep off in settings so enjoy your constant beep if you play games with ultra graphics
