This one is still going strong!The original unit from 2007 died last month - nearly 10 years when the Eatons we have been buying are lasting no longer than 4 years - if that much!This company will be going back to APC for all our future UPS needs.

This unit seems to work well, as I no longer suffer lockups of the blue ray player or loss of streamed video over the internet.

but Amazon is amazing in their customer service and replaced the defective unit immediately no fuss no muss and know all three a re working.

This unit worked for a little over 3 months and then went into overload alarm mode.

Unit was bad

I submitted an RMA request explaining what happened after what appeared to be a fault with the unit, and within a day, they had a new unit ready to ship at no expense - I didn't even have to ask for it

I think this is a field where someone could move in and make a killing with a reliable unit at a reasonable price.

These units offer stable, affordable, power protection and battery backup

I tested the unit by turning off the circuit breaker which powered my computer and accessories and the system worked as specified.

The replacement batteries are almost as expensive as a new unit

I use video surveillance security cameras connected to my laptop and don't worry about power failures as this unit will quickly switch on once the power fails and is estimated to provide juice (110v) through its backup battery system for the next 45 minutes, depending on what's hooked up to it.

I purchased this unit to work on a workstation computer in a hotel office environment in a foreign country.
