The USB connection allows you to set exactly how the UPS will handle power interruptions and the warning beeps that sound when it kicks in are loud and clear.

USB cable worked and my Win 10 found the UPS.

The UPS is whisper quiet and has already protected us against a power failure as we have a breaker in our box that is acting flukey so this particular outlet I'm using fails almost daily

APC always seems to make excellent UPS products.

I don't have a lot of experience with UPS units as this is the first unit I have ever used, but this UPS is fantastic

I live in MI, with the frequent major snow storms we've been having this year, my power goes out frequently and decided it was time to get a decent UPS.

Whether you get this UPS or a different one, I can't over exaggerate how important a UPS is.

Well, I've only had the UPS a month, after, up to this point, not having had any power issues/surges/outages

As I understand it, the Back-UPS and Smart-UPS SC, are not true, pure sine wave UPS, and are not suitable for any Active PFC computer power supply rated 500W or more

Great UPS and love the idea of master socket to plug in when you shut down your system for the other

These bigger modern power supplies require true, pure sine wave UPS's like the Smart-UPS, Smart-UPS XL and Smart-UPS RT, according to the informative but confusing (to me) PDF that I downloaded from APC, Application

Overall, this is a very good UPS for home/home office computers.
