My computer has been hooked up to this for over 2 years now, and I can't tell you how many times it's saved me from losing my work, or progress when I'm gaming

While it's designed primarily as an uninterrupted power supply for a computer, it has worked well in this role (for which it is massively overpowered, but I see that as a feature when providing emergency comms to medically fragile seniors).

When we lose power, everything stays running the time it takes to switch to the generator, these work perfect

So far it has worked perfect

From all indications this product is working great with my iMac and my MacBook Pro

During setup, I moved it around, leaving the devices attached; each time I pulled the plug on the main power, the APC worked as described; no interruption.

The devise works great and does in fact shut everything down when I turn off the computer.

APC has been doing these long enough that they realize the consumer wants a reliable, well crafted, and brilliantly designed unit that works

The new one is working well, has more than adequate back-up capacity, as well as two more outlets than the old unit.

I have alway had good luck with APC and this one is working great like I expected it would.
