This UPS works as advertised.

It worked as advertised, but I only let the test go for 30 minutes, so I don't know if it will go for hours

that being said, it did work as advertised during a short power outage several months ago.

I, too, received a unit that had a newer battery installed after its initial manufacture, but it works as advertised.
