If you need longer times, you're in the wrong price range by a factor of 4.The surge protection it offers - which like any surge protector can be a bit of a crap shoot in terms of effectiveness, but still better far better than nothing

We experience not infrequent blackouts in our area, so having one or a few can save work when you're doing real work on a computer or just playing games on a console so you don't lose your valuable work or game progress
I was originally concerned about the date of manufacture but both back-ups have worked flawlessly
It does the job but it is SUPER sensitive to power flux and multiple times a day it starts beeping in a shockingly loud manner which is not healthy when you're working quietly in the office
I did not lose my work; and was able to finish what I was doing with no problem

After giving this unit sufficient time to charge itself, I cut the power to this unit, my modem and my router, and it kept them powered for about 2.5 hours
So I am keeping my fingers crossed that the third time is the charm.

A little bulkier than I would have liked, my only real complaint is that the plugs are all in the same alignment, with makes it difficult with three horizontal-oriented transformers, and while there seems like a lot of space between the plugs, there functionally isn't.

This works great for keeping the WiFi from having to be reset with every little power flicker

Don't wait till you have a power glitch to find out its really defective.
At night, a small power glitch will sound the alarm and wake me up
It keeps my wireless access point running when I unplug the UPS from the wall, so it's probably good during an extended power outage, but both times we recently had a brief power glitch during storms, the access point still rebooted, so I'm not sure why the UPS didn't keep it running stably.
