Just what I needed to keep my router and modem powered during outages without annoying alarm beeps

Random beeping is disconcerting.

The power went out in the middle of the night and the long beep was unbelievably loud

That annoying 2 second beep still wakes me up at night whenever a home appliance (microwave) is switched on and a momentary voltage drop is detected

So far these units have protected my electronics and they dont have that annoying beeping sound as soon as the power goes out.

However, the unit beeps once very loudly when the power goes out and it switches from mains to battery backup, and there is no way to disable the loud beep

I can appreciate the logic boards quick voltage detection, but I can't live with the 2 second false alarm beeps.

I have tried popping the battery out and disconnecting, holding power button etc; however, it won't stop a loud constant beep

The second one still works, but is not happy with generator power - frequent intermittent beeping, while two other (more expensive) UPS units from other manufacturers are completely happy.

A couple of hours after the power had came back on, the unit let out its ridiculously loud beep again randomly - and then it beeped again about 10 mins later...

Unlike other UPS you don't have to listen to the annoying alarm beeps of other units

In case you weren't aware that your power is off: It BLARES a extremely loud beeping noise.

Excellent in an environment where the usual beeps and boops of a typical UPS are unacceptable.

Most are worthless in residential home settings because of the annoying beep's in the middle of the night.
