The TIME LEFT RUNNING is a very useful feature, but I've never tested it because there doesn't seem to be a real good reason to continue using a computer when you've no idea when the power is coming on again.

It has many user friendly interactive features that other brands do not.

The battery will still bleed even if it outside the APC but not as fast as when it is inserted in the usable position

You would hope that Amazon would have newer inventory of these units, or that Amazon wouldnt knowingly carry defective units, but clearly from the reviews on Amazon, it's still hit or miss as to whether or not you will order an APC BR1500MS (or BR1000MS, etc) and get one that doesn't chirp
