APC UPS 1350VA Sinewave UPS Battery Backup & Surge Protector, APC BackUPS Pro UPS (BR1350MS)

    • I use a QNAP TVS882 and wanted to protect the integrity of the drives from power failures.
    • Definitely worth the money not just for total power failures, but for power glitches and power surges.
    • One power failure corrupted my wife's computer data without a UPS (so I had to restore the operating system)
    • If your units are frequently having to charge and discharge due to power failures you might not get 2 years out of them.
    • Has saved me a number of times at home already, during power failures.
    • During a power failure, it damaged the power supply in my Dell XPS desktop
    • I let the unit charge to full capacity and then plugged in my critical componenets: modem, router, WiFi AP, network switch and NAS to keep the network and VOIP land line going during a power failure
    • I have mine connected to my surveillance TV system so the system does not need to be manually reset after a power failure.
    • so it doesn’t drain the batteries and rely on the UPS in case of a power failure
    • It's kept me going through a few power failures, and has successfully signaled my computer to save whatever work it can and shut down before the battery died whenever a power failure lasted too long.
    • The software is unable to send out e-mail or text notifications in the event of a power failure.
    • I haven't had a power failure yet though to test how long it actually keeps my routers, modem and phone system up and running -- a must for emergencies.
    • Select personal parameters to allow for controlled power shutdown on back up battery power if prolonged power failure
    • all of the outlets on the left side of the unit are AC only (no power if power failure).
    • So I guess if you have 1 power failure, your going to need to buy a battery each time that happens?I continued to use this product without buying a battery, and it continued to work even though it complained about needing me to buy another battery
    • The first one I use to keep my networking hardware running in the event of a power failure
    • It is preventing damage to my computer from all the little micro-power failures in my neighborhood
    • A simulated power failure worked as hoped.
    • There had been no thunder storms or power failures.
    • This device backs up your electronics in the event of a power failure, the devices will not be damaged
    • Perfect backup for sudden power failures.
    • I recently experienced a power failure and this unit kept all the electronics plugged into it going, including internet access
    • It also provides backup power so that I can do an orderly power down in the event of a power failure.
    • This APC back-ups pro works great, and tells me how many times a power failure or flection has accrued
    • Has not been challenged by a power failure.
    • The UPS models without AVR (automatic voltage regulation) only protect your equipment from a power failure, and massive surges
    • The second unit will not hold a charge after experiencing one brief power failure.
    • I run my gaming rig out of it in addition to my laptop and mini fridge and the battery still lasts long enough to casually shut down my computer in case of a power failure
    • i have a major computer network and this UPS is the only one that will keep me up and running in a power failure situation of more than 2 minutes.
    • A simulated power failure worked as hoped.
    • The battery will still bleed even if it outside the APC but not as fast as when it is inserted in the usable position
    • You would hope that Amazon would have newer inventory of these units, or that Amazon wouldnt knowingly carry defective units, but clearly from the reviews on Amazon, it's still hit or miss as to whether or not you will order an APC BR1500MS (or BR1000MS, etc) and get one that doesn't chirp
    • Great as usually
    • Mine does it but it does not bother me as much as it bothers some of the reviewers.
    • Overall I highly recommend it as I have had many of these over the years and they have never let me down.
    • A great product and it works as it should.
    • Works as it should.
    • The instructions need to be improved as they seem to be disorganized.
    • Other companies are certainly improving, but when it's critical I always go with APC.
    • Not as bad as I first thought
    • Power outage at the house (Storm), lost connectivity (router, etc.)...the "U" in UPS is false with this thing
