1 CAUGHT FIRE AND THE OTHER HAS A CONSTANT BEEP AND REFUSES TO TURN ON

There is no way do disable the beep on Mac

It worked fine in the beggining and now, every time I minimize my game and go to the browser just ti check an email or read the news it starts beeping like crazy, I mute it and it starts beeping again it drives me crazy and I hate it

Can't you invent a simple switch?Also when it makes an awful beep for no apparent reason

The beeping will drive you mad.

I ran Classic World of Warcraft (Pretty low demand game) and it started beeping like crazy until I closed the game

When there's a full blown outage, I have ample time to turn off all my stuff and the UPS makes a single loud beep to let me know that I should.

Then the system signaled difficulty with a loud beep.

Generally, I have no problems with this device -- it seems to do what it's supposed to and on a couple of occasions has woken me up with its incessant beeping so that I could shut down my computer gracefully during a blackout.

The beep is a nightmare

Upon turning on my printer, the entire unit shut down with a loud beep, taking out the computer with stuff I was working on

Well, it immediately started beeping telling me it was overloaded

And the beeps are stupid loud

No annoying beeps when computers start electric

This morning it started beeping like power was out.

The intermittent loud beeps that when you check the logs show no events.
