Thought it wouldn't have retina display or might be scratched upon opening the box but all my fears melted away when I saw it and held it for the first time
It is slim, almost weight nothing, and retina display is an advantage to the eyes
The size is right, retina display is crystal clear and battery life is phenomenal
This one is more exciting as the Retina display is great for Facetime as well as to watch movies

I also use the kindle app on it for my studies and it's a lovely little e-book reader.
having trouble downloading videos, other than that its a great device.
If you are not an Apple-maniac and need a good tablet, buy Android device for the same money or even cheaper.
The device failed in two months up to black non-responsive screen

This ipad mini 2 has a nice sharp screen and works great.
Only problem, screen went totally black on me, took days to figure out how to get it started again
