One short drop can break them, which I think is ridiculous considering this is supposed to be a portable device

Combined with an iTrip and any of the car power adapters, iPod is the perfect music device

Apple's Ipod is a convient compact MP3 device, that can hold thousands of songs in one convient package

For a marginally computer literate user, this device hs so far been fairly easy to use, although I'm sure I'm spending far more time than necessary downloading music.

My only wish for this otherwise slick little device is that Apple either solves the issue of mid-song freeze or puts a more blatant warning on the packaging noting that the device is not ideal for running or other jarring activities

I highly recommend you research battery types on any portable digital device you buy.

This is an extremely fragile device and you WILL drop it.

I don't want to beat the dead horse here, but this device is amazing.

I will say this, I loved my iPod, it WAS a great little device.

My critic points are that the promised 12 h battery life could only be reached at a very calm audio output level, that the beautiful device surface is everything but scratch-proof (I highly recommend a transport case) and that the enclosed headphones suck
