When I first got the unit it had firmware 1.00 installed and I experienced extremely sluggish menu response.

Very sluggish response time, and unbearable wait times/delays when plugging in and ejecting from iTunes - on the order of 8-9 minutes.

Also the response when connected to a computer is still pathetic
