We bought a portable DVD player with an iPod dock a month ago specifically for this new iPod, but Apple changed it's software so that none of the new iPods can be shown on older/unapproved DVD players

Now I must save up my pennies for another, more reliable, MP3 player

I'd owned a Creative mp3 player for a VERY long time and needed an upgrade.

I'd heard a lot of great things about Apple, and I hate to say it, but really, it's only been a mediocre MP3 player for me, which is disappointing, considering Apple's preceding reputation

Nothing stellar, but not so far removed from it's direct competitors that I'd recommend another player for that reason alone
