I call it a electronic device b/c it bundles a high quality mp3 player,a photo viewer, video viewer, great screen for all your viewing, a great organized software interface to access everything,sleek,thin casing that fits in my back pocket unnoticeable,and last but not least an 80-160 GB Hard drive to hold all of my growing music (now 10 GB) and video, photo, and audiobook library (20 GB)

I love the split screen effect and all the new interface

At first I didnt like the split screen menu, but now Im starting to like it.

I was surprised at how watchable video is on the Classic; I thought the small screen would be impossible.

Buy a clear screen protector and a clear case protector for the back of this iPod before you start using it.

However, my music collection is getting very close to exceeding the 40GB capacity, so I purchased an iPod Classic 80GB.First, the good: The screen is excellent for both movies and photos

i can't believe am getting over 40hours of Audio playback, cover flow looks just amazing, also the LED LCD screen makes it one of the best LCD screens out there on a device of this size

After a couple of minutes, the screen changes to a "Screen saver" mode which shows the current time and the remaining battery life

The screen was VERY bright and I had to lower it, so it wouldnt hurt my eyes, and that helped a bunch

With no backward compatibility for purchased games and no backward compatibility for video accessories (this includes the portable LCD screens that the iPod can connect to), Apple has got a potential for an uphill battle

it has a beautiful screen and can hold TONS of information on it

Great video transfer program and the pictures look great on the nice screen

Zune has video out - video remote - is faster than the IPOD - has a bigger and better screen - etc..

The screen is nice and vibrant for looking at all the cover art, and the backlight auto shuts off to save on batteries when you aren't using it, especially useful when it's just sitting in your pocket or glovebox.

When you watch movies, the screen is crystal-clear and perfectly bright, each color beautifully illuminated (I really didn't expect it to be able to display such color).

The screen looks like it could scratch easily, so I didn't tempt fate and immediatley purchased a case to protect it

Arrived fine but the screen cover was in bad shape but the screen itself is fine
