Reviews around size (5.00 of 5)

  • I like the size it is just taking me a while to get use to all the little quirks
  • However, I don't seem to get enough screen size for any games
  • I decided to get the nano because of the nifty color and the compact size
  • Very easy to use, sound is good (better if you ditch the crappy headphones it comes with and get something decent), and very small size makes this a must have, especially in any one of the available colors.
  • Nevertheless I really like compact size and the logic behind it.

Reviews around color (5.00 of 5)

  • The colors for this generation were my favorite in the nano line
  • Otherwise, it is a cool gadget to have (very good sound quality) and she really liked the blue - great color!
  • I do own the blue one which is why I am writing it on this page, but the other colors are just as great and pretty

Reviews around generation (5.00 of 5)

  • It doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother others, though
  • Like others that have recently gotten the IPOD Nano 4th Generation.
  • I can't make any comparisons but I will say that I find the iPOD nano (4th generation) to be easy to use, I love it's small size, and it produces a great sound.
  • I absolutely love my trusty blue 4th generation iPod Nano

Reviews around sound (4.55 of 5)

  • I can't make any comparisons but I will say that I find the iPOD nano (4th generation) to be easy to use, I love it's small size, and it produces a great sound.
  • I've really only used it in the car, and I love the sound and clarity of the music on ipod, and it works wonderfully.
  • This also improved my ability to hear the great quality sound.
  • For me a lanyard, hangs around my neck and the in-ear sound isolating buds just reach from my neck to ears - so no cables to get in the way.
  • I would reccomend(sorry for spelling) this to anyone who wants an Ipod with color, uniqueness, and great sound.

Reviews around quality (4.49 of 5)

  • The quality was excellent, even better than the description
  • The headphones are good and do feel a bit "big" so they don't go into my ears snug but the sound quality is very good.
  • The cheaper ones are just that...poor quality.
  • Colors are vibrant and beautiful, audio quality is excellent, and it feels great in the hand, but if you want a nano then get the 3G one instead
  • This also improved my ability to hear the great quality sound.

Reviews around player (4.49 of 5)

  • I can't compare with Zune or others since this is only the first more expensive player I have used.
  • But overall, a great MP3 player compared to other companys.
  • This is an excellent music player that has something to appeal to anyone
  • and I hope to have this superb .mp3 player for years to come
  • I am coming from the perspective of having owned another top MP3 player for (the Zune) for about 3 years, from owning a Sony Jukebox for about 2yrs, and from having owned this Ipod since its release

  • It came sooner than was expected and came in great condition and exactly as described.
  • Unit was received in very poor condition (was badly dinged up.
  • The product was in perfect condition with a very helpful note incase there were any problems
  • The ipod arrived in perfect condition and in time for Christmas even though I ordered it a little later than I should have.
  • It was in good condition, as advertised by the seller, and came with a charger and ear buds.

Reviews around item (4.16 of 5)

  • This item is wonderful! It was a Christmas gift for my Grandson and he loves it!
  • The supplier made this purchase ideal with prompt response, inclusion of extra items and enclosed information and instructions concerning steps to take if I was unhappy with the purchase.
  • But other than its deliving time this item is great she loves it
  • I am 78 years old, and the ipod is a wonderful item that is very easy to operate and to load your cd's for personal usage.
  • the item looks great but it does not live up to its expectations

Reviews around nano (4.11 of 5)

  • My daughter loved her Ipod Nano which was a Christmas present
  • I absolutely love my trusty blue 4th generation iPod Nano
  • Bought a refurbished Gen 4 Nano because I hate the new Gen 6 form factor, and it didn't want to pay for uneeded video capability and the FM radio of the Gen
  • I purchased the new nano because I tragically lost my 4GB 3rd gen
  • The Nano itself was easy to set up and I had no difficulties

Reviews around shake (1.95 of 5)

  • I'm not sure if you can deactivate this (you probably can), but for my particular model, the shake is messed up
  • It doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother others, though
  • You have to really give it a hard shake to make it switch, so it's not something you're likely to do by accident (and you can turn it off, if you are a very forceful walker/runner).One thing I really like, and something I haven't seen mentioned much in the reviews for this, is that if your headphones unplug, the song pauses
  • Not significant differences over the 3rd generation Nano, but he loves the shake to shuffle feature.
  • This Ipod gives me hassle, mostly because of the annoying "Shake to shuffle" feature

Reviews around battery (1.85 of 5)

  • The battery is not AWFUL, but it is less than satisfying
  • However, I have found that the LCD screen can really drain the battery
  • Maybe I got one that doesn't have a good battery
  • I left my iPod playing music at medium volume last night, full battery, and when I woke up, the battery was dead
  • That can get annoying, especially when I'm listening to music on my ipod radio for hours before realizing that I'm draining the battery and will need to charge it again
