Unfortunately, because it's water damage, it's not covered by warranty

It has a moisture sensor inside which changes color with even the most miniscule amount of moisture (normal humidity for example) so that if you take it back to apple they will not replace it because they don't cover water damage.

Even though the only "water" that ever go near the thing was sweat, Apple's warranty doesn't cover any kind of water damage, period
