The hard drive quit working and just makes little clicking sounds

the sound, what there is of it, is pretty good, and iPods are great fashion statements

THE SOUND IS EXCELLENT, AND THE PICTURE QUALITY IS CRYSTAL CLEAR

The Apple store staff in Atlanta told us to buy a cassette adapter for car use, said it was much more reliable/as good sound as the FM transmitters, I found the Sony adapter to be way better than the Belkin and exactly the same price

I have it wired direct in my truck and the sound is awesome.

Is Apple moving back to 30 years old technology???I am sure that a lot of people thinking about it, but they are still buying Ipods because of the marketing and good sound of the unit.

I'm also, like a lot of audiophiles, opposed to digital equipment in general and prefer the warmer fuller sound of analog sources (like my very tricked out turntable).

This is a killer sounding portable when used with lossless compression, and etymotic ER-6 headphones.

Sound is good
