Yes, it's not the fastest and doesn't allow for upgrades, but it's the lowest cost Mac mini available in quite some time

For my use, and basic computing the Mac mini woks very well I most likely would not use it for anything strenuous

However as my budget had decreased, I decided to go with the less costly Mac mini.

That is great news and something that Apple should have announced more vocally when the Mini was refreshed back in October

I bought the "mid" Mini with the Fusion drive and it works wonderful for what I need

As it turns out Apple has put almost no effort into improving the Mini at all

I enjoy the mac mini the most because i feel it offers the most value as you can customize your setup and or use existing monitors, keyboards etc.
