8GB is the bare minimum to run a modern system, I would definitely skip the base model

These two Minis have decent processor speed, they come with AC wifi so if you have good wifi system than streaming media contents should not be a problem.

It is a brand-new MAC Mini computer which the ad said came with a Yosemite OS (Operating System) but mine had a later version of El Capitan already in it (though I understand that it is a very easy download from the Apple store to get the latest version of El Capitan if it doesn't already have it in the computer) and is a very powerful computer unit with a lot of memory in it (I got the one with 1 TGB in it) and a faster operating system than my laptop PC.

With its i5 processor the system is responsive and is able to run all my work applications.

Fast, solid, and with a complete seamless operating system, that was designed as a single unit, rather than "mostly works together".

My honest opinion, if you love MAC`s and the way they operate and there filing system, the UNIX kernal, or maybe your a dev guy just starting out BUY A WINDOWS LAPTOP AND PUT LINUX UBUNTU ON IT!
