Not the fault of the duplicator, instead, the drive had so many bad blocks the coming attempts kept falling

What ensued was a 2-day saga of many failed clone attempts, the details of which would only interest a compu-nerd with nothing better to do than read Amazon reviews.

After a few unsuccessful attempts, got this to work correctly.

In retrospect, the clean install was much quicker compared to the several failed attempts at cloning the notebook drive with the upgrade kit.

it's a good deal can't really complain as it was the cord I wanted ....but the software?

Just plugged it in, inserted CD, downloaded latest version, a few mouse clicks, and the drive started copying the original, and the new drive works as if it was the original

had to get update from dev at apricrn, real nice e-mailed right back, great software , it works wonderful, i'm using with windows 8 pro

Seems to be no way to only clone the 398 gig C: drive and ignore the empty E: drive
