- I bought a SanDisk 960GB SSD here without the $40 concierge service because I thought the good reviews for this item and the cheaper price were good enough for me to clone the HDD.-Follwed the directions

I got a great price on the drive, but needed a cable and software to clone my existing drive to the new drive.

If you need the hardware to do this the price is not bad but unless the drive you are copying is the same size or bigger dont use this product.

I would just buy an enclosure for a much cheaper price

I decided to fix a very good laptop whose hard drive was close to taking its last breath, so installed a brand name SSD but didn't want to pay the exorbitant price for a SATA upgrade kit of the same brand

If you're going from a smaller drive to a larger drive - make sure to go into advanced options and make adjustments in your OS/Recovery/C drive etc... not hard and everything works fine!!

I was concerned about the fact that the old drive had two logical drives, C: and D:, but the software handled this without a problem and copied over both logical drives with no issue

had to get update from dev at apricrn, real nice e-mailed right back, great software , it works wonderful, i'm using with windows 8 pro

Seems to be no way to only clone the 398 gig C: drive and ignore the empty E: drive
