great inexpensive HDD cloning tool, I have only owned the Apricorn for just under a month, I have used it to clone 11 HDDs, in my instances the cloning process was fairly quick and painless even with a couple SATA II lappys I did, it says notebook in the description, but this works great for doing external backups and cloning on a desktop PC

Pros: Works just as advertised, copies data quickly, great transfer tool for dying HDDs if you can keep them alive long enough to do the transfer

i used this tool all the time at work as well, and it will copy any HD to another HD with any hardware transfer device used

This is a fantastic tool for migrating PC drives, but DID NOT include SuperDuper for Macs as advertised

If you are making the switch from HDD to SSD, or just have some old hard drives around that you need to access, this is a great tool.

If you do not have time to research and do it for free, then it is a good tool it did data replication without any hassle.

I also figured it is a handy tool to have for future hard drive upgrades, or general hard drive troubleshooting

So far, I've replaced four HDD's with SSD's and this little tool has been a gem

The tool is self service, works great

(This set me back a couple hours while I used Gparted (a free, graphical partitioning tool) to remove the partitions from the new hard drive and start over.)In EZGig, be sure to MANUALLY ADJUST the PRIMARY PARTITION to use all the new (unallocated) space on your new hard drive.
