Reason why I gave it a 4/5 star is because I noticed the clips scratched my air vents quite a bit when I had a hard time putting it on
-
Great product, I wish it was a little bit more solid on the vent, as when I try to remove the Nuvi from it the whole thing comes off the vent
-
This unit fits a bit loose on the vent but once the weight of the 4.3 inch garmin is on there it stays in place just fine.
-
The one disadvantage is it blocks the A/C vent a bit.
-
The vent mount is a bit too cumbersome to attach and detach from the vent as well as the actual GPS.
-
A bit loose, but better and the suction cup options and allows for better installation locations.

-
We've had it installed for six months now -- it's taking a bit of a beating when somebody hits it, but it has not broken and has not broken the air vent.
-
Getting the clips into the holder is a bit tricky but it works
-
It was a bit loose and slipped off easily
-
I read the reviews for this before buying and was a bit afraid because people made it sound like it was a piece of crap
-
As soon as the plastic warps a bit from use, this clip is going to fall off
-
Well, it's still working, although it has gotten a little looser; but still usable, and no danger of coming off, just a bit slop when making selections, and it has come off once or
-
In my opinion it works a bit better on smaller GPS as the wide screen units tend to be a bit heavier

-
I wound up having to wedge a bit of folded up business card along side of the vent to keep the whole dumb thing from swinging left and right every time I made a turn
-
Initially, it was a bit difficult to install as the clips that attach it to the vents were tight and stiff
-
It is a little bit tricky to remove this device from the vent
-
Only thing, it is a bit loose since the bottom does not "secure" to anything, it just rests and the weight of GPS keeps it
-
But the lower support simply buttresses loosely to the vent and the unit will bounce if you take a speed bump a bit to quick
-
I've owned it and used it frequently for about 2 years, so it'll hold up - you just have to be very careful not to break the vents, and adjusting is a bit tricky, as you have both the ball mount and vent slats as moving variables
