-
it's easy to install and supports my gps with no problem.
-
The mount hold the GPS reasonably steady and secure, swivels so that a passenger can use it, and is easy to install and remove
-
Because of its design it obstructs the line of sight to satellite causing my GPS to simply stop working.
-
I'm going to REALLY like not having the GPS on the window.
-
said that, I really like the convenience of having the GPS in the same vertical plane as my radio and other controls, rather way up by the windshield.
-
But now with the GPS mounted on the dash and not interfering with your view through the windshield, it is a much more driver friendly installation.
-
Maybe good for smaller units but for the 7 inch screens, the gps is more on the car floor than on the dash.
-
This clever little device solved my GPS mounting problem easily and cheaply
-
My GPS falls off regularly.
-
I bought this as an afterthought when I ordered my Garmin nüvi 50LM 5-inch Portable GPS
-
The vents in the Expedition did not provide enough support to steady the GPS.
-
I like not having gps on windshield in the way of view
-
This always fell off once you put the GPS on it and the clips broke, I ended up getting a different type.
-
Nifty GPS mount.
-
and my GPS keeps falling off
-
If you are a very careful person, never use a vent setting that expels hot heat when it's cold, where the GPS vent mount is located
-
The second one started loosing its grip, to where my 5" GPS could come loose after a big bump
-
I like the positioning of the GPS below the top of the dashboard as opposed to the bean bag approach that elevates the GPS above the dashboard.
-
My first one broke easily but I love having the GPS off the dashboard and window
-
The quality to me was also iffy at best, the clips are easy to break and it just doesn't seem like it can keep a GPS stable without shaking.
-
Slides out of my vents part way sometimes, but it doesn't let my GPS fall down like the window suction cup
-
Not only is the GPS more accessible than when it was on the window, but now i don't have the annoying little circle of the Su took cup on the windshield if i remove the mount, and I lose no visibility
-
It keeps the GPS off the windshield or dash so it doesn't interfere with your line of sight.
-
Before my GPS kept falling off the window, now it stays in place and easy to see
-
I don't like the GPS on the windshield as it blocks my view
-
Works marginally in G6, but I would not trust my GPS to it
-
Very secure and keeps vent clear, GPS in a good location, and out of sight from passers by.
-
Magellan RoadMate 1700LM 7-Inch Portable GPS with Lifetime Maps
-
Love putting my GPS near to my reach in front of stereo
-
I do consider it a quality product, it held the GPS where it needed to be, and didn't sag or fall down.
-
I worried that it would block airflow from the vent or conversely the heat/cold would damage the GPS
-
Great mount fits perfect to the GPS but it tends to come of the vent when you manipulate the GPS, otherwise it stays on
-
This mount worked very well, holds GPS in place on ac vents, i would recommend this mount to friends.
-
I'm not using the GPS for everyday driving so this mount works for me.
-
The best GPS car solution I have seen.
-
GPS fell out of the vents a couple of
-
The GPS is very accessible now
-
Works pretty good in my BMW 535i...had no room top put up the GPS anywhere else without being an "abstraction" even on the windshield
-
Then the GPS and holder all fell to the floor one day.
-
This is the neatest little gadget to finally replace the nasty dashboard holders for portable GPS
-
I have the Garmin 350, and while I love the GPS, I hated the suction cup
-
This is the one to get at least for my 2003 Toyota Matrix (see my review of another portable GPS mount model)
-
Having used a GPS system for a couple of years now, I DID NOT LIKE THE GPS ON
-
RAZR BIONIC INCREDIBLE 2 CHARGE Google Nexus BlackBerry Torch LG Revolution GPS Compact Size 360
-
totally takes the anxiety of sticking my gps to the window and worrying it may fall.. out of the picture
-
The vent position is perfect for the driver to handle the GPS, way easier than the windshield mount or dash mount
-
I like this item because:-it lets me mount the GPS in a place that doesnt take windshield space-it looks better this way.-with this, my gps is transferrable to other cars just as easy because every car i use has a/c vents.-it appears and so hard has held up as if its made of some tougher ABS-like plastic.-as long as you place it's clips correctly, you will have very little problems keeping it grounded to the vent.-the 2 clips on the upper end have adjustable placement for various vents.-on never cars, like my 09 escape, the a/c vent shades are a little thicker and this unit stays gripped on the vent shades very well.-this item is very cheap to buy.-places the GPS out of sight of people outside your car when your driving, depending on how the a/c vents on your car are located.-the GPS angle is still adjustable with these a/c mounts
-
Keeps GPS secure.
-
but if you're looking for a vent GPS mount, you probably knew that.
-
Bottom line, if you are seeking a GPS air vent holder, don't be afraid to try this one.
-
And it keeps the GPS off the top of the dashboard like the beanbag ones
-
nuvi GPS is very good.
-
Great item better than suction cups, and safer against would be thieves looking for suction marks, ready to steal GPS.
-
My friend has a rather bulky GPS mount for the air vent
-
Have you seen how much room a friction mount and GPS take up on a dash?-FIT
-
But it's not hard at all to use, and has the added benefit of keeping your GPS cool since it's right in front of the A/C vent.
-
Bluetooth Portable GPS
-
My advice is find another way to secure your GPS.
-
this is great 4 gps in your car i hate having things on my windscreem 2 Arkon 100 out of 100, keep up the great work.
-
This works like a champ, keeps the GPS in front of you, and not on the dash obstructing your view.
-
Just not sure if over time it will loosen up more and have trouble holding the GPS at the angle you put it at.
-
Finding a vent mount for your portable GPS may take a little experimentation but for just a few buck each, it's worth it.
-
When you find the one that fits your car, it's really the only way to go for a portable GPS.
-
The inexpensive GPS clip has been used by me for 3+ years
-
This product makes my GPS look like part of my car.
-
This is a great gps mount.
-
This gps mount is a great way to keep your gps neat and organized
-
When attached to the vent, I can control the GPS as simply as tuning the radio, rather than leaning up to reach the windshield mount.
