I wish Garmin would have bundled this item with their GPS unit rather than the flimsy and clumsy item it came with originally.

This item gives junk a bad name.

I like this item because:-it lets me mount the GPS in a place that doesnt take windshield space-it looks better this way.-with this, my gps is transferrable to other cars just as easy because every car i use has a/c vents.-it appears and so hard has held up as if its made of some tougher ABS-like plastic.-as long as you place it's clips correctly, you will have very little problems keeping it grounded to the vent.-the 2 clips on the upper end have adjustable placement for various vents.-on never cars, like my 09 escape, the a/c vent shades are a little thicker and this unit stays gripped on the vent shades very well.-this item is very cheap to buy.-places the GPS out of sight of people outside your car when your driving, depending on how the a/c vents on your car are located.-the GPS angle is still adjustable with these a/c mounts

With out that part, this item is useless.

On balance though (if you wish to reliably be able to view the navigator), this is a great item.

I have used this item several times, and it has not fallen off the vent yet even when on a bumpy roadway.

This item is a little flimsy and awkward to be called removable (as in removed often)

Great item better than suction cups, and safer against would be thieves looking for suction marks, ready to steal GPS.
