I ordered this because there just isn't a convenient place to mount a Garmin Nuvi gps unit in a 2010 Honda Odyssey.

This is a good item if you have no place to place the bass and us the windshield to keep it out of sight for theft this Item works just fine

I now have it mounted in a better place, so I use it more

I use this with my older Nuvi in my 4Runner and it allows me to put it in a perfect place down lower on the dashboard and closer to the electrical outlet

The disk is also a good option if you can find a good place to mount it.

Still it's mounted in the perfect place on my car and doesn't obstruct the driving view.

It's a great place for my NUVI 660 and a improvement over the windshield mount the tends to come loose and fall on the floor with the summer heat

While the car vent may seems like an ideal place to mount your GPS unit, in practice it's not that good

Important to make sure your vents are in a good place - this wouldn't work with all cars!

The unit is perfectly placed in the mid-upper dash area just like a built-in, factory system

I have a Honda CRV, so the dash is sorta small and not really a good place to put GPS where it is visable so this product works well for me.

I have a Honda CR-V and this mount puts it right in the correct place to be used by both the driver and passenger.

It is also in a very good place to see and not get in the way of my field of vision through my windshield.

It is secure and in just the right place to see without taking my eyes off the road

The concept is good and the vent is a good place based on my vehicle

The mount has a lifetime warranty and Arkon has an easy way to order the replacement clips (see comment from Aaron at Arkon below as well as in the question section)

It does the job when you clip it to A/C vent and its cheap.

It is well designed and so convenient once you get the hang of attaching it to the A/C vent louvres, which was difficult at first attempt.

I like this item because:-it lets me mount the GPS in a place that doesnt take windshield space-it looks better this way.-with this, my gps is transferrable to other cars just as easy because every car i use has a/c vents.-it appears and so hard has held up as if its made of some tougher ABS-like plastic.-as long as you place it's clips correctly, you will have very little problems keeping it grounded to the vent.-the 2 clips on the upper end have adjustable placement for various vents.-on never cars, like my 09 escape, the a/c vent shades are a little thicker and this unit stays gripped on the vent shades very well.-this item is very cheap to buy.-places the GPS out of sight of people outside your car when your driving, depending on how the a/c vents on your car are located.-the GPS angle is still adjustable with these a/c mounts
