The price is right, but if I can only use it a few times before it warps, then have to buy a whole new mount every time, I think that would be wasteful, and eventually too expensive.

Definitely worth the price!!!As a bonus, since we travel through so many states where anything attached to the windshield is illegal, this works much better than adhearing a plastic disk to the dashboard, or worrying about the beanbag sliding all over the dash like my old one did.

I have a Garmin nuvi 225w with windshield mount, but when I know that my state low not allows GPS put in the windshield, so I decided to buy a dashboard mount for cheap price

My next attempted solution was to try the weighted beanbag solution (cheapest price at Walmart), but as an accomplished urban driver who likes to make yellow lights (and the common deceleration into corners thereafter), I got tired of trying to catch the whole package as it was sliding to it's doom!.The final solution that works well, and is the simplest, is to mount the adheasive disk that came with my Garmin (and available to purchase as an accessory here at Amazon) onto my dash

Despite some of the questionable Reviews on this item, for the inexpensive price I decided to try it out as I am not too keen on having a large beanbag mount sitting on my dashboard

This is a very good product in good price.

Being a mechanical design engineer I can say it was well thought out and is very functional and the price is awesome.

Price is cheap enough though to try for yourself and maybe have better luck.

It does the job when you clip it to A/C vent and its cheap.

It is well designed and so convenient once you get the hang of attaching it to the A/C vent louvres, which was difficult at first attempt.

I like this item because:-it lets me mount the GPS in a place that doesnt take windshield space-it looks better this way.-with this, my gps is transferrable to other cars just as easy because every car i use has a/c vents.-it appears and so hard has held up as if its made of some tougher ABS-like plastic.-as long as you place it's clips correctly, you will have very little problems keeping it grounded to the vent.-the 2 clips on the upper end have adjustable placement for various vents.-on never cars, like my 09 escape, the a/c vent shades are a little thicker and this unit stays gripped on the vent shades very well.-this item is very cheap to buy.-places the GPS out of sight of people outside your car when your driving, depending on how the a/c vents on your car are located.-the GPS angle is still adjustable with these a/c mounts
