I've owned it and used it frequently for about 2 years, so it'll hold up - you just have to be very careful not to break the vents, and adjusting is a bit tricky, as you have both the ball mount and vent slats as moving variables

It will not hold the GPS steady; the vent slats on the dashboard are too flimsy to hold anything.
