One of the mounting clip broke in half the second time I used it, unit doesn't work with one mounting clip
-
Unfortunately it's not strong enough to support my Garmin GPS unit.
-
Will update in a month or so if problems develop but I suspect the unit will be fine.
-
but once I fumbled my way thru that step this unit is a great improvement over the windshield or bean bag mounts.
-
This unit broke the one of the slats on my vent
-
This unit is perfect,, and it makes the Garmin-Nuvi look like an integral part of the dash
-
This unit is inexpensive, however, so we purchased it as a spare just in
-
I was not sure if this inexpensive air vent unit would work
-
The unit is perfectly placed in the mid-upper dash area just like a built-in, factory system
-
A similar unit is available for Tom Tom as well
-
but then the unit would constantly fall off the vent.
-
but once I fumbled my way thru that step this unit is a great improvement over the windshield or bean bag mounts.
-
It is just not compatible with the PEAK and Amazon whould so state on their information, it should not be recommended for use with the PEAK, an excellent unit.
-
Really love this unit
-
Have a hard time placing it so that it does not fall down out of place on my vent unit
-
This unit may work better in larger cars with larger vents.
-
Keeps the GPS (Garmin 50 & 755) off the dash and window while allowing air flow to keep the unit cool.
-
The unit fits the 2010 Camry vents well, and the GPS is placed in an excellent position when mounted on the left vent just above the radio
-
Liked the CD mounted unit better.
-
This positions the unit so it does not obstruct your vision
-
It supports a 5-inch GPS unit and hasn't fallen off once.
